Transformation is the first book in the Anchor & Edge Romance Series, a contemporary romance series by Thomas Reynolds.

The series is set in New York. Each book is structured around the slow, terrifying work of telling the truth about what you want — and the people who finally make telling the truth feel possible.

Book 1 follows Sybrina Hart, a VP at a Manhattan consulting firm, and Shaun Williams, a Jamaican-American consultant who has been on the other end of her late-night memos for four years and notices what she's hiding the day they finally meet in person. The book is rooted in workplace-to-lovers chemistry, women's-fiction interiority, and a sensuality-forward D/s thread that treats power exchange as psychologically meaningful, not as shock.

This site is not the book. It's a dual-POV blog that runs through the years before the book begins — a way for readers to come to know Sybrina and Shaun before they meet in person. The morning after they kiss, the blog goes quiet, and the rest is in the novel.

Thomas Reynolds is an architect, a writer, and a New Jersey resident. Transformation is his debut novel.
